Kings Warriors Game 1

On Saturday, I had the opportunity to attend game 1 of the Kings Warriors first round playoff Series. While the 126- 123 victory for the Kings was the best game of the day, what I really want to discuss is the experience of the Kings first playoff game in 17 seasons. Having been to quite a few sporting events in my life, this one had to be up there with the loudest most energetic crowd I’ve ever been a part of. At some points during the game it was so loud, I could hardly hear the PA announcer. Fans filled the downtown commons, 3 to 4 hours before doors even opened. Chants of “Sacramento” were heard throughout the evening. After the game, fans gathered outside of the arena taking of the beam, that is lit up after every Kings victory.
