Giants Struggle at Home Against Nationals
During the 3 game series, against the Washington Nationals, The San Francisco Giants clearly struggled. Over the 3 games the Giants were outscored 34-12. That being said Sunday’s loss was only the second time this year the Giants had suffered a series loss on the season. Considering all of the injuries the team has dealt with over the first month of the season it is amazing that the Giants finished April at 14-7. For any fans who are concerned with the Giants play as of late, I think we should wait to see how the team does the rest of this month. With 11 of the 27 games left for the month against divisional opponents, plus 7 against the St. Louis Cardinals, and a 3 game series against the New York Mets, I think how the team fares this month might give us a better idea if the Giants are here to stay as not only the best team in the National League West but more importantly the best team in baseball.
